For those of you who have followed DreamShield over the years, it’s time for a little housekeeping—and a new chapter.

My journey into this strange and wonderful territory began in Italy at Santa Maria Del Sol in Puglia Italy in 2010. During a meditation that was offered as free bonus for my filming the Soul Dram Workshop, I experienced an extraordinarily vivid vision of three ET-like angels visiting me in a yoga hall and inviting me to form form a planetary shield around the Earth.

I’d never experienced anything like this vision that is as real as any memory I’ve ever had. It was quite a shock. My twp kids thought their dad had maybe lost his marbles.

Fortunately for my sanity and my freaked out kids, I came to learn from my friend, award-winning motion picture producer Barnet Bain, that visions of this intensity are not necessarily unusual for filmmakers like me with strong visualization skills and the ability to lucid dream. Barnet was moved by my vision of the benevolent ETs and encouraged me to share my spiritual awakening—to “be a beacon.”

And so DreamShield Planetary Meditations was born.

For the next 16 years, I shared my story, political thoughts as they relate to consciousness, and planetary meditations primarily here, along with YouTube and Facebook.

As my film work took me deeper into the New Age community—from Italy to the pyramids of Egypt—I eventually found myself traveling all the way to Antarctica in 2012 to perform 24 planetary meditations.

For fundraising, I branded that adventure The Coolest Meditation Ever: Antarctica 12.12.12.

For the past 16 years, with the invaluable help of my love and partner in all things, Elizabeth England, we’ve maintained two homes for our meditations and our hopes for a better tomorrow: DreamShield and Coolest Meditation Ever.

It’s long overdue to bring those worlds together.

This original DreamShield site isn’t disappearing. It will remain online as an archive of the journey—16 years of visions, meditations, politics, filmmaking, spiritual exploration and some pretty wild adventures.

And DreamShield isn’t ending.

DreamShield Planetary Meditations will continue. They’ve simply teleported to a new home at CoolestMeditationEver.com, where Elizabeth and I can keep creating and sharing them without maintaining two separate meditation sites.

That also gives us something we badly need right now: more time for our filmmaking work at Overactive Imagination Pictures, where we’re deep into developing our slate of three feature films.

Different homes. Different kinds of storytelling. One underlying purpose.

Because beneath everything we’ve done with DreamShield is the same idea that began with that strange vision in Italy:

Maybe our thoughts matter.

Maybe our stories matter.

Maybe imagining a more peaceful world is one small way we begin creating one.

Sixteen years later, I still believe the experiment is worth continuing.

So DreamShield isn’t going away.

The shield is still up.

We just teleported the control room. 😄
